Build Parts That Work as Hard as You Do.
Rock Krawler Suspension is looking for a skilled, motivated MIG Welder to join our manufacturing team!
We manufacture high-performance suspension systems and components for serious off-road vehicles. Our products are built to handle demanding conditions, and that starts with the quality of the people making them.
We're looking for someone who takes pride in laying down clean, consistent welds, enjoys hands-on manufacturing, and understands the importance of producing quality parts efficiently.
This is a production welding position. Components arrive pre-cut, pre-bent, and ready for welding. You'll use established fixtures and processes to produce suspension components accurately and consistently.
If you're a dependable welder who enjoys working with your hands and seeing quality finished products come off the production line, we want to hear from you.
What You'll Be Doing
- MIG welding steel suspension components, brackets, mounts, and assemblies
- Positioning prepared components in established welding fixtures
- Producing strong, clean, consistent welds that meet our quality standards
- Inspecting completed welds for accuracy, appearance, and defects
- Following established welding procedures and production specifications
- Maintaining proper alignment and dimensional accuracy
- Monitoring weld quality throughout production runs
- Maintaining welding equipment and keeping your work area organized
- Working efficiently to meet daily production goals without sacrificing quality
- Identifying problems and communicating with the production team to prevent defective parts
Production Welding: Quality and Efficiency Matter
At Rock Krawler, we're not building one-off projects. We manufacture suspension components that are produced repeatedly and shipped to customers around the world.
That means the first weld of the day needs to be just as good as the last.
We're looking for someone who can develop a productive rhythm, work efficiently with established fixtures, and consistently produce welds they can be proud of.
Good welds, accurate assemblies, and consistent production are what make someone successful in this position.
What We're Looking For
- Previous MIG welding experience preferred
- Ability to produce clean, consistent welds on steel components
- Basic understanding of welding techniques, machine settings, and material preparation
- Ability to read a tape measure and verify dimensions accurately
- Strong attention to detail and pride in workmanship
- Ability to follow established procedures and work independently
- Comfortable performing repetitive production welding
- Dependable attendance and punctuality
- Strong work ethic and willingness to maintain production expectations
- Positive attitude and ability to work with a small manufacturing team
Experience in automotive, suspension manufacturing, or other production welding environments is a plus.
Formal welding certifications are not required. We're more interested in your actual welding ability, consistency, and work ethic.
Qualified applicants may be asked to complete a practical welding test.
Physical Requirements
- Stand and move throughout the workday
- Lift and carry up to 50 pounds
- Perform repetitive welding and material-handling tasks
- Bend, reach, and position components in welding fixtures
