Summary:
Keep the manufacturing plant in good running order, clean and safe. Take direction from the Facilities Lead to keep all work organized. Ensure proper function, fit and finish on all projects performed. Any plant cleaning experience is welcome. Must be able to take direction easily and follow through with completed work product. Must be timely, neat in appearance and a safe worker who follows policies and procedures. Must have the ability to use tools, measure, read designs and listen to instructions given. Must be able to work with little direction after given clear directions.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Prepare work to be accomplished by listening to directions, ask questions and use common sense.
- Gathering parts, tools, and materials for any project necessary.
- Clean areas daily as directed.
- Follow through with maintenance requests by preparing your workstation, asking questions and set expectations for completion.
- Verifies specifications to be measuring for completed fix
- Resolves problems by notify Facilities Lead.
- For all tools: Keeps equipment operational by completing preventive maintenance requirements, following manufacturer’s instructions, troubleshooting malfunctions, notifying supervisor of problems
- Maintain safe and clean working environment by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations
- Maintains supplies inventory by checking stock to determine inventory levels, anticipating needed supplies
- Takes care of equipment and supplies needed to accomplish job results.
- Identify any defective items and handle according to established procedures.
- Take directions from Lead/Managers or Plant Manager
- Ensure all duties are performed properly
- Report any problems to Facilities Lead
Preferred General Skills:
- Cleaning and basic upkeep knowledge
- Hand tool knowledge and use (files, Dremel, etc.)
- Working understanding of how to clean, paint, fix walls, etc.
- Regularly required to use hands to fingers, handle or feel, reach with hands and arms, and talk or hear
- Regularly lift and/or move objects 10-50lbs, occasionally lift and/or move objects that weigh more than 50 lbs.
- Frequently required to stand, walk, stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl
- Frequently required to sit and climb or balance
- Specific vision abilities required for this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust and focus
- Good communication skills
- Physical fitness and strength to lift and operate tools
- Excellent hand-eye coordination
- Ability to follow written and spoken directions
- Basic computer skills such as emailing, record keeping ordering, inventory management form filing
Educational Background:
- High school diploma or equivalent (GED)
Pre-Employment Requirement:
- Must be 21 years old or older
- Must pass Federal ATF background check
- Must pass drug test
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $14.00 - $15.00 per hour
