Essential Functions: Program Director
- Work with the Director of Residential Operations to carry out the mission and vision of New Hope Treatment Centers
- Ensure the safety and wellbeing of residents at all times
- Adhere to all licensing requirements
- Serve as the ultimate decision maker for all milieu related activities
- Set a positive tone and the culture for trauma informed care
- Create a team of leaders and leaders under them that exemplify New Hope’s values and vision
- Lead, train, develop and support staff and ensure they have the tools to lead those under them Staff
- Work hand in hand with other department leaders to ensure there is maximum cohesion in our operations
- Help inform and execute the vision of the Chief Operations Officer
- Ensure that our internal response to crisis situations and major issues is swift, thorough and we don’t repeat the same mistakes
- Work with the facilities team to identify security vulnerabilities and areas that need enhancement
- Ensure that direct care staff and youth have the resources they need to be successful
- Serve as an external representative for the company at relevant events, tours, stakeholder engagement opportunities
- Weigh in on admission decisions in collaboration with clinical and medical team
- Have knowledge of the residential budget and work within it while appropriately advocating for the needs of the milieu.
- Ensure high degrees of accountability are executed throughout the residential ranks
- Lead/guide/push retention efforts
- Actively work on your own leadership and development, be a role model, create and maintain the culture, step up/into other tasks and projects as needed by the organization.
KPI’s (Key Performance Indicators):
- Direct Care, Program Supervisor, Therapist and Case Manager retention rates improving
- Employee Engagement Surveys increasing or sustaining above 85%
- Critical Incident Reports and Restrictive Intervention data trends decreasing
- Compliance trends with relevant medical records remaining high per internal audits
Qualifications:
Requirements:
- Bachelors in human service field required with minimum of 5 years' experience.
- Preferred Qualifications: Master's degree in behavioral/mental health or similar specialty with minimum of 5 years' experience.
