Responsibilities:
Bring your passion for working with the elderly and memory care experience to our team as the Memory Support Program Director. You will plan, develop, organize, evaluate, and direct the overall operation of the Memory Support Program. The Memory Support Director is responsible for fostering a climate, policies, and routines that enable residents to maximize their individuality, independence, and dignity. This climate shall provide residents with the highest practical level of physical, mental, and psychosocial well-being.
- Deliver evidenced-based dementia care practices while achieving positive clinical outcomes and patient/resident and family satisfaction.
- Oversees direct reports and delegates aspects of resident care to licensed and unlicensed staff consistent with their scope of practice and in accordance with the Memory Support Program Philosophy and Standards of Care.
- Develop and maintain a quality program which therapeutically addresses the needs of residents with dementia and their family members.
- Maintain compliance with federal, state, and local guidelines and regulations, company policies and procedures, and standards of care.
- Bachelor's degree required in Social Work, Nursing, Therapeutic Recreation, Psychology, Gerontology or other related field is required.
- Three or more years of direct experience in dementia care delivery is required.
- Two or more years of management/administrative/supervisory experience is required.
