Travel ICU RN

Role: Critical Care Registered Nurse (ICU RN) responsible for delivering comprehensive, high-quality care to critically ill patients in an ICU setting.

Key Responsibilities

• Assess, monitor, and respond to subtle changes in patient condition using advanced clinical judgment.
• Administer complex medications and treatments, operate life-support and hemodynamic monitoring equipment.
• Ensure patient safety, comfort, and emotional needs while documenting interventions and patient responses accurately.
• Educate patients and families about treatments and recovery, collaborate with multidisciplinary teams.
• Maintain proficiency in critical care procedures, adhere to infection control protocols, and participate in quality improvement initiatives.
  
  

Qualifications & Skills

• Minimum one year of recent ICU experience.
• Valid RN license, BLS and ACLS certifications.
• Strong critical thinking, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Physical ability to move equipment and remain in a stationary position.
• Proficiency in reading, writing, and computer skills; visual acuity for effective communication.
