Registered Nurse - MICU Stepdown Unit - Multiple Shifts

Position Overview: This role involves providing direct nursing care in a Medical Intensive Care Unit (MICU) or stepdown unit, supporting patients with complex medical conditions such as cardiac and respiratory issues. The nurse will implement and monitor care plans, communicate patient status, coordinate multidisciplinary care, and assist with discharge planning.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver patient care aligned with organizational policies and protocols.
• Assess patient conditions and carry out physician and nursing orders.
• Serve as the primary coordinator for comprehensive patient care.
• Monitor, record, and communicate patient status effectively.

Qualifications And Skills

• Current RN licensure or eligibility through the Alabama Board of Nursing.
• BLS certification from AHA or ARC within 30 days of hire.
• Diploma from an accredited nursing program.
