- Performing laboratory tests and quality control procedures, with increased responsibilities for specialized technicians.
- Assessing, reporting, troubleshooting, and documenting test results and instrument issues.
- Maintaining laboratory equipment and inventory, and assisting in training staff and students.
- Operating computers for patient data and quality control, performing phlebotomies, and ensuring a clean, safe work environment.
- Participating in meetings and educational seminars as needed.
- Six months of laboratory experience and a two-year Medical Lab Technician program/Associate’s degree.
- Proficiency with analyzers and computers preferred.
- MLT (ASCP) license eligibility.
