Key Responsibilities
- Oversee new hire orientation and nursing education programs, including quarterly outcome improvement efforts.
- Manage and track staff education using Relias Learning Management System to ensure regulatory compliance.
- Lead interdisciplinary care planning to meet standards aligned with the organization’s mission, working collaboratively with off-shift supervisors.
- Develop, evaluate, and implement patient care operations, ensuring quality, budget adherence, and regulatory compliance.
- Supervise clinical staff, conduct performance evaluations, and address corrective actions.
- Participate in committees, board meetings, and survey preparedness activities, including audits and corrective actions.
- Identify educational needs related to quality initiatives and facilitate staff training accordingly.
- RN/BSN with a Connecticut license required; clinical psychiatric nursing experience preferred.
- Minimum five years of clinical nursing supervisory experience; behavioral health experience is advantageous.
- Experience with clinical information systems, project planning, and implementation preferred.
