The Rochester Medical Center (www.rochestermedicalcenter.com) is looking for a Medical Receptionist to be the welcoming face of our healthcare practice. The Rochester Medical Center is a multi-disciplinary practice that includes Cardiology, Preventive Cardiology, Internal Medicine, Primary Care, Vascular, Men's health, and Concierge Medicine. Additionally, we have a diagnostic facility including CT, Ultrasound, Nuclear, and x-ray.

Responsibilities:
- Greet and check in patients with warmth and professionalism
- Answer phone calls, schedule appointments, and manage calendars
- Verify insurance and collect co-pays
- Maintain patient records and update information in the system
- Coordinate with clinical staff to ensure smooth patient flow
- Perform basic administrative duties (filing, faxing, scanning, etc.)
- Light cleaning
Requirements:
- Previous experience in a medical office or customer service setting preferred
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask
- Comfortable with electronic medical records (EMR) systems
- Professional and compassionate demeanor
This position is Monday-Thursday.
