Rocco's Italian Kitchen is an award-winning independent Italian restaurant, martini and wine bar, and entertainment venue in Bradenton. We host live music, dance nights, trivia, bingo, wine events, holiday celebrations, and special community gatherings throughout the year.
We're looking for an organized, proactive Marketing, Social Media and Communications Coordinator to work with the owner to help manage and execute our marketing efforts across multiple platforms..
We're looking for someone who can coordinate, organize, schedule, communicate, and make sure everything gets done.
While we currently have support for graphic design and social media content creation, we're open to candidates who can contribute additional expertise in these areas. The primary focus of this role is coordinating and executing overall marketing efforts, but candidates with strong social media, content creation, or digital marketing experience are encouraged to apply.
We're looking for the best fit for the business and are open to tailoring responsibilities based on the strengths and experience of the right candidate.
Hours
Approximately 5–10 hours per week to start, with flexibility and growth potential.
Compensation: Based on experience.
Responsibilities
- Coordinate marketing efforts across social media, email marketing, text marketing, website updates, and event promotions
- Coordinate and plan in-house signage
- Schedule and manage content using platforms such as Boostly, Restaurant Growth, Facebook, Instagram, and other marketing tools
- Work with outside graphic designers, printers, website providers, SEO companies, and other vendors
- Ensure promotions, events, specials, and menu updates are accurately reflected across all marketing channels
- Update event calendars and website content
- Coordinate email campaigns and text message promotions
- Help manage online event listings and community calendars
- Organize and track marketing projects and deadlines
- Attend occasional vendor meetings and communicate action items
- Assist with local marketing initiatives and community outreach
- Help promote restaurant events including live music, dance nights, trivia, bingo, wine dinners, holiday events, and special promotions
- Monitor marketing performance and recommend improvements
Ideal Candidate
- Highly organized and detail-oriented
- Strong written communication skills
- Comfortable managing multiple projects at once
- Familiar with social media platforms and digital marketing tools
- Experience with email marketing and customer engagement programs
- Able to work independently with minimal supervision
- Hospitality, restaurant, events, or local business marketing experience is a plus
- Experience coordinating vendors and outside contractors is a plus
