Production Associate
OVERVIEW SUMMARY: Rocal is seeking reliable, detail oriented individuals to join our growing company. We have immediate openings with our first shift, which works from 7 am to 3:30 pm M-F. A strong work ethic and dependability are essential; you must be responsible for following all health and safety regulations.
EMPLOYEE JOB DUTIES:
- Following specific instructions from department and plant supervisors
- Use various tools and equipment to complete tasks
- Able to accurately read a tape measure
- Must be a timely and efficient worker
JOB REQUIREMENTS:
- High school degree or equivalent educational experience; Vocational school
- Must be 18 years of age
- Reliable mode of transportation
- Positive attitude and work ethic
PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
- Continuously stand on concrete for long periods of time
- Bend, squat, climb on signs and lift frequently
- Routinely lift objects weighing up to 50 pounds
- Wear personal protective equipment correctly
- Work in hot/cold temperatures
- Exposed to loud noises
SAFETY REQUIREMENTS:
Read and sign the following; Safety Rules, Maintenance Safety Rules and a complete welcome packet.
All new employees will receive a pair of safety glasses and ear protection (as needed) before working on the floor.
TRAINING REQUIREMENTS:
- Hazmat
- Forklift Training (testing required)
- Crane Lift
- Power Tools (hand)
