Operations Manager
South Central Ohio fabricator, founded in 1962, is seeking our next manager of operations.
We are an industry leader with a strong reputation in our field. Our production facility is in south central Ohio, with a satellite operation located in Florida.
Experience managing multiple departments and day-to-day interfacing with associates is critical.

Key Responsibilities
Strategic Planning & Execution:
Develop and implement long-term plans for facilities, equipment, and workforce to meet operational and business goals.
Operations Management:
Supervise all day-to-day aspects of manufacturing, including production planning, quality assurance, and inventory management.
Financial Oversight
:
Manage and forecast cost center budgets, monitor revenue margins, and contribute to financial plans to maximize profitability.
Quality & Compliance:
Ensure adherence to industry standards, regulatory requirements, and internal quality policies to maintain certifications and customer satisfaction.
Team Leadership & Development:
Hire, train, and develop manufacturing staff, fostering a productive and efficient work environment.
Process Improvement:
Monitor production metrics, identify areas for improvement, and implement new technologies or methods to increase operational efficiency.
Communication
:
Report progress and production metrics to senior management as well as building and maintaining relationships with customers and suppliers.
Qualifications & Skills
- Education
:
A bachelor's degree in engineering, manufacturing, or a related field is typically required.
- Experience
:
Several years of experience in manufacturing or operations management, with a proven track record in staff supervision, is essential.
- Skills
: - Strong leadership and team management abilities.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills to interpret data and drive improvements.
- Effective verbal and written communication skills for reporting and collaboration.
- Deep knowledge of manufacturing processes, tools, and technologies.
