Responsibilities
- Perform landscape maintenance including mowing, trimming, planting, pruning, and edging to ensure healthy and attractive outdoor spaces
- Operate hand tools, power tools, and heavy machinery such as excavators and lawnmowers with safety and precision
- Maintain irrigation systems by inspecting, repairing, and adjusting components to ensure proper watering schedules
- Conduct tree care activities including trimming, pruning, and removal to promote safety and growth
- Implement hardscape projects such as installing pathways, patios, retaining walls, and other landscape features
- Provide seasonal services like snow plowing and de-icing to keep properties accessible during winter months
- Assist with gardening tasks such as soil preparation, planting flowers or shrubs, and fertilizing for optimal growth
Qualifications
- Demonstrated mechanical knowledge related to landscaping equipment and tools
- Experience in lawn care, landscape maintenance, or gardening is highly desirable
- Familiarity with land management practices including horticulture principles and tree care techniques
- Ability to operate hand tools, power tools, and heavy machinery such as excavators safely and effectively
- Knowledge of irrigation systems, snow plowing procedures, and hardscape installation is a plus
- Strong understanding of landscaping design principles and construction processes
- Physical stamina to perform outdoor work in various weather conditions for extended periods
