What are the responsibilities and job description for the Integrated Manufacturing Engineer Intern position at Robynex Automation?

As an intern, you’ll be immersed in meaningful work, supported by expert mentors, and empowered to explore your potential across multiple areas of our business. This position has the responsibility to coordinate with procurement counterparts in strategic and tactical supply base decisions. Will be involved thru multiple stages of the Gate Management Process beginning with supplier assessment audits, reviewing proposals, technical reviews and quality planning, process development, production approval and launch.
Things You’ll Do:
- Quality Audits: Assist in Conducting regular audits of supplier facilities to ensure compliance with quality standards.
- Process Improvement: Collaborating with suppliers and internal partners to enhance manufacturing processes and reduce defects.
- Quality Control: Developing and implementing quality control plans, including inspection and testing procedures.
- Data Analysis: Analyzing quality data and trends to identify areas for improvement.
- Documentation: Maintaining records of supplier performance, quality audits, and corrective actions.
What We’re Looking For:
- Bachelor’s degree or greater in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Civil Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Materials Engineering, Packaging Engineering and/or Chemical Engineering and safety.
- Cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher.
- Anticipated Graduation of December 2026 or May 2027.
- Legal authorization to work in the United States – Sponsorship will not be provided for this role.
