Duties
- Plan and execute age-appropriate activities that promote childhood development, including preschool, toddler care, and infant care routines
- Create a safe, clean, and welcoming classroom environment that encourages curiosity and learning
- Monitor and support children’s social interactions, behavior management, and emotional well-being
- Implement classroom management strategies to maintain order and foster positive discipline techniques
- Provide basic first aid when necessary and respond promptly to any health or safety concerns
- Collaborate with parents and guardians to communicate children's progress and address individual needs
- Maintain accurate records of daily activities, attendance, and developmental milestones
Requirements
- Prior experience working with children in daycare, preschool, or similar settings is highly preferred
- Knowledge of childhood development principles and age-specific caregiving techniques
- Certification in first aid and CPR required; additional training in special education or working with individuals with disabilities is a plus
- Demonstrated ability to manage classroom dynamics effectively with patience and enthusiasm
- Strong communication skills to engage with children, parents, and team members
- Ability to work flexible hours in a fast-paced environment while maintaining a positive attitude
- Relevant experience in nannying or babysitting is considered valuable for this role
