What are the responsibilities and job description for the Financial Literacy Coordinator position at Robins Financial Credit Union?
What You’ll Do:

Develop and Maintain School and Community Relationships:
- Establish and maintain strong partnerships with schools, educators, and community organizations
- Serve as a liaison between the credit union and educational institutions
- Regularly visit schools, attend education-focused events, and connect with key stakeholders, including school system leaders, counselors, and student organization advisors.
- Track and document engagement efforts, measuring the effectiveness of relationships and program reach.
- Deliver Engaging Financial Education Programs:
- Design and conduct financial education programs tailored for high school and college students.
- Lead interactive financial literacy workshops, seminars, and classroom presentations.
- Develop and maintain standardized course materials and presentation resources.
- Utilize in-person and virtual formats to maximize accessibility and engagement.
- Track participation and measure program impact through assessments and reporting tools.
- Support Educational and Community Initiatives:
- Represent the credit union on school advisory boards, educational committees, and volunteer organizations
- Advocate financial education by collaborating with school systems to integrate financial literacy into curriculum.
- Support credit union initiatives that align with community education and youth engagement.
- Additional Responsibilities:
- Manage program budgets and ensure cost-effective implementation.
- Demonstrate professionalism, teamwork, and commitment to the organization’s mission and strategic goals.
- Comply with all applicable policies, procedures, laws and regulations including but not limited to the Bank Secrecy Act.

What You Need To Succeed:

Job Education and Experience Required:
- Bachelor’s degree in marketing, education, business, or a related field OR 5 years of relevant experience.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in marketing, community outreach, education, or public speaking.
- Preferred Education, Certifications & Experience (addition to above):
- Experience in financial services or educational program development.
- Familiarity with curriculum design and learning engagement strategies.
- Proven ability to engage audiences and facilitate educational sessions effectively.
- Knowledge and Job Performance Requirements:
- Excels at public speaking, customer service, problem solving and reasoning, decision making and sound judgment, written and oral communication.
- Ability to work with little direct supervision
- Proficient computer skills in Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, Publisher, PowerPoint, and Adobe Photoshop
- Experience with virtual meeting platforms such as Webex, Zoom, Microsoft Teams,
- Valid driver’s license with acceptable driving record
