What are the responsibilities and job description for the 1X ASSEMBLY EXPERDITOR position at Robertson and Caine International Yachts?
Reporting to the Group Leader / Line Manager, you will fulfil the necessary requirements with regards to the operational activities / requirement in the Assembly Department to meet the Company’s objectives which is the manufacturing of high-quality Yachts.

- Receiving of parts and signing off all components from Joinery & Moulding Shop.
- Following up on all shortfalls and parts that are outstanding with various Supply Departments.
- Leason between Joinery, Moulding Shop and Assembly.
- Loading of Requisitions on Flowcentric and leasing with Team Leaders & QC Department.
- Booking in/out Company Tools.
- Keeping all boat records filed and updated as per procedure.
- Housekeeping – ensuring designated areas are kept clean and tidy.
- Ensuring all health and safety protocols are followed.
- Minimum: NQF Level 2 (Grade 10).
- Ideal: NQF Level 4 (Grade 12).
- Basic computer skills – MS Excel (Email, Word & Spreadsheets)
- Advantageous: Stores and customer service experience.
- Advantageous: Knowledge of Syspro programme.
- Good communication, both verbal and written.
- Excellent timekeeping and attendance record.
- Good planning, organising, communication and control skills.
- Ability to meet deadlines.
- Quality conscious / QC parts.
- Physically capable of packing heavier items.
- Decision Making.
