Description
We’re looking for a talented Sr. Server Engineer to help us build a scalable server-side platform that supports our robot and the mobile clients.
Responsibilities:
- Architect and build scalable APIs based on our Microservice infrastructure
- Work closely with DevOps to test and deploy the latest services
- Coordinate requirements with other Engineering teams in an agile environment
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field
- 3 years building server-side Node.js applications designing APIs
- 2 years architecting large-scale solutions in AWS with emphasis on microservices
- Strong understanding of AWS security concepts, such as VPC and IAM roles
- Experience building and deploying Docker containers
- Experience with NoSQL databases like MongoDB and caching solutions like Redis
- Passion for Robotics and/or building simple, efficient solutions
- Team player with respectful, no-BS mentality
- Proficiency with automation tools like CloudFormation, Chef or Ansible
- Familiarity with AWS EC2 Container Service and Auto-scaling
- Experience supporting Production and Staging environments
- Use of Jenkins in the continuous build/deploy cycle
- Master’s degree in Computer Science
