Responsibilities and Skills
- Conduct comprehensive assessments of patients’ health status and medical histories.
- Develop, implement, and evaluate individualized care plans based on patient needs.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed, including IV insertion and IV infusion.
- Monitor patients’ progress and respond to changes in their condition promptly.
- Provide education to patients and families regarding health management and discharge planning.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to coordinate care for patients with behavioral health issues.
- Proficient in IV insertion and IV infusion techniques.
- Strong understanding of behavioral health practices.
- Knowledgeable in workers' compensation law and its implications for patient care.
- Familiarity with medical terminology relevant to nursing practices.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, for effective patient interaction.
- Strong critical thinking skills to assess situations quickly and make informed decisions.
