Job Title:
Janitor
Reports to:
Production Manager
Job Purpose:
Maintaining and cleaning the building and grounds, plus general housekeeping.
Responsibilities: (100%)
- Clean floors, surfaces, fixtures, windows etc. by sweeping, vacuuming, dusting, washing, etc.
- Mop restroom and other facility floors
- Empty trash and scrap bins daily
- Perform exterior cleaning and maintenance by sweeping, snow shoveling, etc.
- Clean machinery as directed
- Maintain supplies for janitorial work
- Other duties as required
Physical and Visual Activities:
- Standing, sitting, walking, lifting up to and including 50 lbs., stooping, manual dexterity, climbing ladder, talking, visual acuity - near and far, hearing.
Environmental/Atmospheric Conditions:
- Indoor conditions, noise, outside conditions-year round
Job Qualifications:
- Knowledge of housekeeping and use of standard cleaning materials
- Valid Minnesota Driver's License
Training Period:
- Three months
Machine, Tools, Equipment:
- Brooms, mops, cleaning chemicals, vacuum cleaner, floor scrubber, pallet jack, snow blower, ladder, shovels
Information/Directions:
- Written and verbal instructions
Salary : $18 - $20
