What are the responsibilities and job description for the Biorepository Associate position at Robert Walters?
We are seeking a Biorepository Associate to join IQVIA Laboratories at Valencia, CA.
Shift Time: Monday- Friday 8am-430pm
In this role, you will assist with routine activities related to biological specimen storage, preparing and completing outbound shipments. Ensuring accuracy and compliance throughout the specimen storage and shipment workflows.

What you’ll be doing:
- Ensure competency within the role and full understanding of processes.
- Daily use and input of specimen data into Laboratory Information System,
- Complete specimen storage and shipment coordination to third party labs
- Assist, as needed, with packaging of outbound shipments following the established QC process
- Maintain specimen integrity, inventory and audit history within LIMS
- Respond to email correspondences and support LRMS ticket requests; raise IT tickets for system issues.
- Upload shipment paperwork in the LIMS and archive physical paperwork monthly
- Assist with equipment maintenance, supply inventory, and workstation cleanup while following safety procedures.
What We Are Looking For:
- High School Diploma or equivalent required.
- Basic computer skills and ability to maintain effective reporting procedures.
- Strong organizational and communication skills with ability to work collaboratively.
- Other Equivalent combination of education, training, and experience may be accepted in lieu of degree.
The Knowledge, Skills and Abilities needed for this role:
- Familiarity with specimen handling, QC processes, and data entry/LIMS systems.
- Ability to troubleshoot IT/system issues and follow SOPs accurately.
- Strong attention to detail and time management in a fast-paced environment.
- Effective interpersonal skills and ability to maintain workflow under deadlines.

Pay: $19.00 - $20.00 per hour
