We’re seeking a Staff Accountant for a short-term contract in Williamsport, PA. This role requires strong SAP experience and will focus on general ledger work, treasury operations, balance sheet reconciliations, and payment processing.
Schedule: Monday-Thursday onsite, Fridays remote
Key Responsibilities
- Perform GL accounting and reconcile balance sheets.
- Manage treasury operations, clearing incoming/outgoing payments.
- Create and post journal entries in SAP/SAP S4 HANA.
- Support Capex accounting and compliance.
- Assist with corporate and sales tax tasks.
- Communicate clearly with stakeholders and adapt to various accounting areas as needed.

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field.
3–4 years’ accounting experience (retail industry preferred) with strong attention to detail.
Proficient in SAP and SAP S/4HANA for day-to-day accounting tasks.
Solid understanding of general ledger processes and balance sheet reconciliations.
Experience handling corporate and sales tax responsibilities.
Clear, professional communication skills for working with internal and external stakeholders.
Able to work independently and adapt to varied accounting functions.
