We are looking for a Junior Accountant to join our team on a contract-to-permanent basis. Based in Paramus, New Jersey, this role offers an excellent opportunity to contribute to essential accounting operations while enhancing your skills. The ideal candidate will work on-site and handle a variety of financial tasks, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and journal entries.
Responsibilities:
• Process accounts payable transactions, ensuring accuracy and timely payments.
• Manage accounts receivable functions, including invoicing and collections.
• Prepare and maintain journal entries to support accurate financial reporting.
• Utilize NetSuite software to record and organize financial data effectively.
• Collaborate with team members to reconcile accounts and resolve discrepancies.
• Assist in preparing financial documents and reports for internal and external use.
• Ensure compliance with accounting standards and company policies.
• Support month-end and year-end closing activities.
• Maintain organized and accurate financial records for auditing purposes.
• Address accounting inquiries and provide solutions as needed.
• Experience in accounts payable and accounts receivable processes.
• Familiarity with preparing and maintaining journal entries.
• Hands-on experience with NetSuite accounting software.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work on-site in Paramus, New Jersey.
• Effective communication skills to collaborate with team members.
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or a related field preferred.
