Mountain View, CA Staff Accountant Job Type Temporary Pay Rate $38.00 - $50.00 / Hourly Posted — 1 day ago Description Position Summary: The Staff Accountant will support day-to-day accounting operations, focusing on maintaining accurate financial records and assisting with month-end closing processes. This role requires previous experience with NetSuite ERP and strong attention to detail. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, organized, and able to work collaboratively with the finance team to ensure timely and accurate reporting. Key Responsibilities: Maintain the general ledger, posting journal entries and performing account reconciliations Assist with month-end and year-end close processes, including preparation of schedules and reports Process accounts payable and receivable transactions Prepare and review bank and balance sheet reconciliations Support internal and external audit requests Ensure financial data is entered accurately and efficiently in NetSuite Analyze financial data and prepare ad hoc reports as requested by management Support compliance with GAAP and company policies Recommend and implement process improvements for greater efficiency Requirements Required Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field 2+ years of accounting experience, preferably in a similar Staff Accountant role Hands-on experience with NetSuite ERP is required Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel and familiarity with other accounting systems Solid understanding of accounting principles and practices (GAAP) Excellent attention to detail, time management, and organizational skills Ability to work independently and as part of a team Robert Half is the world’s first and largest specialized talent solutions firm that connects highly qualified job seekers to opportunities at great companies.
