Sr. Treasury Consultant

We are looking for an experienced Senior Treasury Consultant to join our client in San Jose. California. This is a long-term contract position offering the opportunity to oversee and optimize global banking operations while implementing innovative solutions to enhance working capital management. In this role, you will play a key part in managing cash flow, ensuring liquidity, and building strong relationships across financial institutions and internal stakeholders.

Responsibilities:

• Lead the optimization of global banking activities, including account rationalization, fee minimization, and intercompany funding.

• Develop and enforce treasury policies and controls to streamline operations and mitigate risks.

• Oversee the utilization of treasury infrastructure tools, including workstations, to improve efficiency and accuracy.

• Manage trade confirmations and settlements for foreign exchange and investment transactions.

• Build and maintain strategic relationships with corporate bankers, operational counterparts, and technology providers.

• Monitor cash flows and balances to minimize uninvested funds and ensure same-day liquidity for business needs.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to share insights on banking activities and operational best practices.

• Provide leadership in centralizing treasury functions and driving related projects with clear objectives.

• Ensure compliance with banking regulations and implement market-standard technologies.

• Support organizational finance leaders in aligning treasury operations with broader business goals.

• Extensive experience in treasury operations within a multinational corporation.

• Proven expertise in supporting and managing treasury functions.

• Strong knowledge of market technologies, treasury infrastructure tools, and banking regulations.

• Strategic thinking and business acumen with a hands-on approach and attention to detail.

• Excellent conflict resolution and negotiation skills.

• Familiarity with corporate treasury practices, cash flow forecasting, and foreign exchange operations.
