We are looking for an experienced Senior Corporate Accountant to join our team on a long-term contract basis. This role focuses on enhancing accounting operations and supporting financial processes within a dynamic healthcare services organization. You will play a critical role in maintaining accurate financial records, improving internal controls, and driving process optimization in a fast-paced environment. This is a remote working opportunity.Responsibilities:• Perform complex journal entries and reconcile balance sheet accounts to ensure accuracy in financial records.• Support month-end close cycles, maintaining compliance in a multi-entity structure.• Develop and refine accounting policies, procedures, and frameworks to align with industry standards.• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to address accounting challenges and improve data integrity.• Manage ad hoc financial projects, contributing to organizational growth and operational efficiency.• Enhance internal controls and streamline reporting practices to meet evolving business needs.• Utilize Oracle ERP systems to optimize accounting processes and ensure seamless financial operations.• Handle competing priorities effectively while adhering to strict deadlines in a dynamic environment.• Provide insights and recommendations for continuous improvement in corporate accounting functions.Role OverviewThe Senior Corporate Accountant will be a key contributor to corporate-level accounting operations, supporting core accounting activities as well as broader post-ERP go-live initiatives. This role will help strengthen financial reporting, internal controls, and accounting processes in a fast-paced, evolving environment.• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or a related field.• Minimum of four years of detail-oriented accounting experience within a corporate or shared-services environment.• Proficiency with Oracle ERP systems, including Oracle Cloud or Oracle Financials.• Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities with a focus on continuous improvement.• Experience in month-end close, journal entries, and account reconciliation.• Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively across teams.• Familiarity with healthcare industry operations and multi-site financial management.• Comfortable operating in a fast-paced, evolving organization with minimal structure.
