What are the responsibilities and job description for the Sr. Accounting of Audit and Operations position at Robert Half?
We're hiring a Sr. Accountant for our client in Stamford, CT. While this role is a Sr. Accountant position, it has a strong focus on Audit and Operations. This person will be the third Accountant on a team of 4, which includes the Manager. This is considered the 2nd most senior role on the team and although it doesn't have managerial responsibility, we are looking for someone with the ability to guide and mentor others.
While this client is an established business, they recently went through a merger and in some respects function like a start-up. Because of this, we need someone who has experienced working through an audit enough times to be able to meaningfully contribute to some system of controls surrounding the current audit process. Additionally, this person should have familiarity with constructing standard operating procedures, as this person will be tasked with digging into reporting to determine which data should be pulled, how often, and who it should be shared with.
Our client uses Excel and Netsuite, but is open to training on system if someone comes on-board with another large ERP system experience. This role is located on site in Stamford, CT 5 days a week.
Salary : $120,000 - $125,000
