Sr. Accountant

We are looking for an experienced Senior Accountant to join our team in Mayodan, North Carolina. In this role, you will play a key part in maintaining financial accuracy and supporting decision-making processes within a dynamic manufacturing environment. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in accounting practices and a solid understanding of general ledger operations.

Responsibilities:
• Prepare and oversee month-end close procedures to ensure timely and accurate financial reporting.
• Manage general ledger activities, including reconciliations and maintenance of accounts.
• Record and review journal entries to maintain compliance with accounting standards.
• Reconcile accounts and banks to verify accuracy and resolve discrepancies.
• Handle accounts payable and accounts receivable processes efficiently.
• Maintain and track fixed assets to ensure proper accounting and inventory management.
• Conduct ad hoc financial analyses to support strategic business decisions.
• Collaborate with internal teams to improve financial processes and reporting.
• Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and company policies.
• Minimum of 3 years of accounting experience, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
• Proficiency in month-end close procedures and general ledger management.
• Strong skills in preparing and reviewing journal entries.
• Proven ability to perform account reconciliations and bank reconciliations.
• Knowledge of accounts payable and accounts receivable processes.
• Familiarity with fixed asset accounting and tracking.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
