Sr. Accountant

We are partnering with a well-established and growing company to find a Senior Accountant to join their team. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced accounting professional who thrives in a fast-paced, hands-on environment and enjoys working closely with operations and leadership.

About the Role:

In this position, you’ll play a key role in the month-end close process, financial reporting, job costing, and project accounting. You’ll be working directly with internal stakeholders to ensure financial accuracy and support strategic decision-making.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare and review monthly financial statements and supporting schedules
• Analyze job cost reports and support WIP (Work-in-Progress) schedules
• Support budgeting and forecasting activities
• Ensure compliance with GAAP and internal policies
• Assist with external audits and year-end close
• Provide financial insights to project managers and operations teams
• Monitor and improve internal controls and accounting processes
  

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
• 5 years of accounting experience, with at least 2 years in manufacturing or construction
• Strong understanding of job costing, WIP schedules, and percentage-of-completion accounting (ASC 606 is a plus)
• Proficiency in ERP systems (e.g., Sage, Viewpoint, QuickBooks Enterprise, or similar)
• CPA or CPA track is a plus, but not required
• Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate across departments
