Software Engineer: IV (Lead)

We are looking for a highly skilled Lead Software Engineer to join our team on a contract basis. This role is critical to enhancing and maintaining cloud security measures, focusing on identity and access management within cloud environments. The successful candidate will contribute to modernizing processes, ensuring compliance, and mitigating risks in a fast-paced, technology-driven environment.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement secure cloud solutions, including Single Sign-On, Multi-Factor Authentication, and Role-Based Access Control frameworks.

• Manage authentication and authorization processes to ensure secure access to internal and external systems.

• Configure and enforce Conditional Access policies within Microsoft EntraID to support Zero Trust principles.

• Identify and remediate non-standard security findings through a risk-based approach.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define access requirements, roles, and permissions for various systems.

• Audit and monitor user activities to ensure adherence to security policies and industry regulations.

• Integrate identity federation between on-premises and cloud systems to streamline access.

• Oversee user lifecycle management, including provisioning, deprovisioning, and conducting access reviews.

• Automate workflows and processes to enhance efficiency and reduce manual tasks.

• Stay informed about evolving best practices, regulatory requirements, and security trends to ensure robust cloud security measures

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Extensive experience with cloud technologies, including Microsoft Azure.
• Proficiency in designing and implementing security frameworks such as Single Sign-On and Role-Based Access Control.
• Strong understanding of authentication processes and compliance standards, including HIPAA regulations.
• Proven ability to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to identity and access management.
• Familiarity with automation tools and programming languages such as Python.
• Excellent communication skills to collaborate effectively with diverse teams.
• Knowledge of cloud migration strategies and best practices for ensuring security during transitions.
