Shipping Clerk

We are looking for a detail-oriented Shipping Clerk to join our team in Sanger, California, on a contract basis. In this role, you will play a crucial part in ensuring the efficient handling of logistics operations. This position requires strong organizational skills and a commitment to maintaining accuracy in shipping and receiving processes.

Responsibilities:
• Coordinate and oversee shipping and receiving activities to ensure timely and accurate delivery of goods.
• Maintain detailed and organized records of shipments, including tracking numbers and delivery statuses.
• Inspect incoming and outgoing packages for accuracy and resolve any discrepancies.
• Collaborate with logistics teams to optimize shipping schedules and minimize delays.
• Prepare shipping documents, including labels, invoices, and packing lists.
• Ensure compliance with safety and security protocols during all logistics operations.
• Communicate effectively with carriers and vendors to address shipping concerns or inquiries.
• Monitor inventory levels and report any shortages or overstock situations.
• Utilize shipping and logistics software to streamline operations and improve efficiency.
• Previous experience in shipping, receiving, or logistics roles is required.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills.
• Proficiency in shipping software and logistics systems.
• Ability to inspect and verify the accuracy of shipments.
• Excellent communication skills for interacting with vendors and carriers.
• Knowledge of safety and security procedures in logistics.
• High attention to detail to ensure accurate record-keeping and shipment handling.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
