Service Writer

We are looking for a highly organized, detail-oriented, and customer-focused part time Service Writer to join our energetic team in Camp Hill, Pennsylvania. This long-term contract position puts you at the heart of our shop’s operations, partnering closely with service managers in a fast-moving, hands-on environment where every day is a new challenge. Responsibilities:

• You’ll manage incoming customer calls, offering quick and solution-oriented assistance that leaves callers confident they’re in good hands.
• Organize and update notes and work orders with precision, ensuring every detail is accurate and up-to-date.
• Handle data entry responsibilities, billing finalization, and invoicing — helping us stay on track and on time.
• Work hand-in-hand with service managers to maintain seamless daily operations and coordinate communication between customers and shop staff.
• Flex your ability to manage priorities in a shop where the pace is brisk, the expectations are high, and the camaraderie is unbeatable.
  

• Demonstrated experience in customer service or a related field.
• Skilled in overseeing order entry and managing work orders with accuracy.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to handle inbound and outbound calls professionally.
• Proficient in performing precise data entry while maintaining well-organized records.
• Comfortable working in a shop environment, including adapting to settings with occasional noise.
• Strong attention to detail, with the ability to multitask efficiently in a fast-paced setting.
• Knowledge of billing processes is preferred and considered an advantage.
• Dependable and adaptable, with a willingness to accommodate a flexible work schedule.
