Senior Contracts Manager

We are looking for an experienced Contracts Administrator to join our team in Iowa. In this fully Remote contract role, you will oversee the drafting, negotiation, and evaluation of contracts, acting as a key liaison between corporate clients and the Legal Contracts and Compliance team. The ideal candidate will ensure adherence to company policies and procedures, resolve contract-related issues, and provide expert guidance to internal stakeholders.

Responsibilities:

• Provide daily guidance and support to stakeholders on assigned projects.

• Draft, negotiate, interpret, and manage complex contracts for suppliers, ensuring alignment with business objectives and customer schedules.

• Analyze contract performance and prepare detailed reports to confirm compliance with negotiated terms and company policies.

• Negotiate favorable terms with suppliers and stakeholders to achieve business goals.

• Review and assess contractual terms and conditions, identifying risks and their potential impact.

• Collaborate with legal experts and subject matter specialists to address risks by developing tailored contract provisions.

• Inform management and other departments about contract status, risk mitigation strategies, and contingency plans.

• Track and report key functional metrics to monitor contract performance and compliance.

• Represent the organization in legal matters related to allocated contracts.

• Maintain comprehensive records of legal and contractual documentation for future reference.

• Bachelor’s degree with at least 10 years of relevant experience, or advanced degree with 7-10 years of experience.
• Alternatively, 13 years of contract administration experience may be considered in lieu of a degree.
• Strong understanding of compliance and company policies related to contracts.
• Proven ability to draft, negotiate, and manage complex contractual agreements.
• Skilled in risk assessment and mitigation strategies.
• Excellent communication and leadership abilities to liaise effectively with stakeholders.
• Proficiency in reporting and metric tracking for contract performance.
• Familiarity with supply chain logistics and business objectives.
