About the Job:
We are seeking a seasoned Senior Accountant with industry-specific expertise in construction and project accounting. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the timely and accurate processing of financial information in a larger ERP system. They will ensure all financial controls are met while simultaneously making sure all company policies are adhered to.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee and produce internal financial reports to heads of departments and Senior Management.
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
- Analyze construction costs, revenues, financial commitments, and obligations incurred to predict future revenues and expenses.
- Maintain and improve the financial system, processes, policies, and procedures.
- Manage project accounting and produce financial reports as requested by management.
- Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal government requirements.
- Maintain and improve the implementation and efficient running of ERP systems.
- Participate in budgeting and financial forecasting processes.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
- At least five years of experience in a similar role, preferably within the construction industry.
- Solid understanding and experience with ERP systems.
- Proficiency in project accounting.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to work under pressure, meet deadlines, and handle multiple projects simultaneously.
- Excellent problem-solving skills with a strong attention to details.
- Sound knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).
- Professional certification (e.g., CPA) is highly desirable, but not a prerequisite.
Salary : $80,000 - $95,000
