Retail Manager and Buyer

We are looking for a dedicated Retail Manager and Buyer to oversee operations, merchandise selection, and team management at our High Point, North Carolina location. This role involves balancing retail management with strategic buying to ensure our store provides an exceptional shopping experience. The ideal candidate will bring expertise in merchandising and leadership to drive sales and optimize inventory.

Responsibilities:
• Manage daily retail operations, ensuring smooth and efficient store performance.
• Develop and implement merchandising strategies to create an appealing store layout and maximize sales.
• Lead and motivate staff, fostering a collaborative and productive work environment.
• Select and purchase inventory that aligns with customer preferences and market trends.
• Monitor stock levels and coordinate with suppliers to maintain optimal inventory.
• Analyze sales data to identify opportunities for growth and improvement.
• Ensure customer satisfaction through excellent service and well-maintained store standards.
• Train and develop team members to enhance their skills and performance.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to meet business goals and align with company objectives.
• Maintain compliance with company policies and industry regulations.
• At least 2 years of experience in retail management.
• Strong background in merchandising with a focus on soft goods.
• Proven ability to manage inventory and oversee purchasing decisions.
• Experience leading and supervising a team in a retail setting.
• Knowledge of sales strategies and techniques to drive revenue.
• Familiarity with merchandise planning and layout optimization.
• Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills.
• Effective communication and interpersonal abilities to interact with customers and staff.
