Receiving & Delivery Specialist

We are looking for a dedicated Receiving & Delivery Specialist to join our team in Vandalia, Ohio. As part of the machinery manufacturing industry, this role focuses on ensuring efficient handling of incoming shipments, inventory management, purchasing operations, and delivery coordination. This is a Contract-to-permanent position offering an excellent opportunity for growth for individuals with strong attention to detail.

Responsibilities:
• Receive and inspect incoming shipments to ensure accuracy and compliance with purchase orders.
• Verify deliveries and update records in the Made2Manage (M2M) system.
• Maintain inventory levels and perform routine audits to ensure accuracy.
• Organize and label inventory for streamlined retrieval and management.
• Purchase small parts required for equipment rebuilds, coordinating with suppliers for timely delivery.
• Negotiate pricing with vendors to achieve cost efficiency and ensure high-quality materials.
• Prepare and coordinate outgoing shipments to meet customer deadlines.
• Handle physical inventory tasks, including lifting items weighing up to 40 pounds.
• Follow safety protocols when managing inventory and materials.
• Proficiency in Made2Manage (M2M) software is essential.
• Previous experience in receiving, inventory control, purchasing, or delivery coordination in manufacturing environments.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently while managing multiple tasks effectively.
• Problem-solving skills to address inventory discrepancies and vendor issues.
• Familiarity with inventory and supply chain principles.
• High school diploma or equivalent; certifications in inventory management or logistics are a plus.
• Basic computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office tools such as Excel, Word, and Outlook.
