Quality Coordinator

We’re partnering with a well-established manufacturing company to find their next Quality Coordinator! This is a key role for someone who thrives in a detail-oriented environment and is ready to take ownership of quality processes that directly impact production, customer satisfaction, and continuous improvement.

About the Role

The Quality Coordinator will play a central part in overseeing quality control operations, specifically in calibration management and non-conformance resolution. This person will collaborate across departments, support audits, and help drive quality standards forward. Details:

Hours: M-F 8am-5pm, with some flexibility

Location: Onsite - Moline, IL

Duration: Contract-to-hire

Growth opportunity: Potential to grow into a leadership role or take on expanded quality responsibilities over time, with increasing ownership of key processes is emphasized

What You’ll Be Doing:

• Administer and monitor the calibration program for tools used on the production floor.
• Track and help resolve internal quality issues and customer-related non-conformances.
• Prepare documentation for certifications and support customer issue resolution.
• Participate in internal and external quality audits.
• Review non-conformance data to identify trends and recommend process improvements.
• Assist in maintaining and improving internal quality documentation.
• Train in dye penetrant testing (non-destructive examination method).

What We’re Looking For

Experience: Background in manufacturing or quality control strongly preferred.

Education: Associate or bachelor's degree helpful, but not required for candidates with demonstrated aptitude and drive.

• Eagerness to learn, grow, and eventually take on more ownership.
• Comfortable multitasking and working in a hands-on, small-company environment.
