A premier food manufacturer is seeking a Purchasing Manager to join their organization. The ideal candidate will be responsible for identifying and fostering a relationship with our suppliers and vendors. You will also oversee the implementation of the supply and production strategies.
Responsibilities
- Use ERP system to monitor inventory to determine what products are needed
- Develop purchasing strategies to ensure consistent inventory
- Research a variety of vendors to find the products for the best prices, as well as the ability to source new ingredients
- Determine quantity and timing of deliveries
- Negotiate vendor contracts
- Analyze market and delivery systems in order to assess present and future material availability
- Maintain up-to-date information on all raw materials
Qualifications
- Bachelor's (Required)
- Experience in procurement (Required)
- Proficiency/experience using SAGE or similar ERP system (Required)
- Proficiency in Excel (Required)
Salary : $120,000 - $140,000
