Job Title: Tax Preparer / Tax Accountant

Location: Broken Arrow, OK (100% On-Site)

Hours: 8am-5pm (Additional hours may be required during tax season however flexible)

Pay: DOE, typically $65,000–$75,000

Employment Type: Seasonal with strong potential to become Temp-to-Hire

Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced Tax Preparer/Tax Accountant - (CPA preferred) to support a busy tax season in Broken Arrow, OK. This role requires a strong background in individual and business tax preparation, as well as solid experience working with financial statements. The right candidate will be detail-oriented, reliable, and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment during peak season. While this position is currently seasonal, there is a strong possibility of transitioning into a long-term, temp-to-hire opportunity for the right fit.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare and review individual and business tax returns with accuracy and efficiency
• Analyze financial statements to ensure completeness and compliance
• Assist clients with tax questions, document requests, and filing requirements
• Accurately enter and maintain data within Drake Software
• Stay current on tax laws, deadlines, and regulatory updates
• Collaborate with team members to ensure timely completion of all filings
• Maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive financial information appropriately
  

Qualifications:

• Prior experience as a Tax Preparer or Tax Accountant
• Proficiency with Drake Software (required)
• Strong understanding of federal and state tax laws
• Experience working with financial statements
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
• Ability to work 100% on-site in Broken Arrow
• Strong communication and client service skills
