What are the responsibilities and job description for the Project Engineer position at Robert Half?
Our client located in the southwest metro is seeking a Project Engineer on a permanent basis. This resource will be responsible for driving operational efficiency, product innovation, and customer/vendor interactions. Working closely with internal engineering, manufacturing, and supply chain teams.
Hybrid role working in office 3 days/week.
QUALIFICATIONS
Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
- In-depth understanding of engineering principles, manufacturing methods, and design for manufacturability.
- Proficiency in project management tools and techniques.
- Experience with CAD software (SOLIDWORKS ideal), as well as familiarity with ERP and PLM systems.
- Strong organizational, problem-solving, and analytical capabilities.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively in cross-functional teams.
Education and Professional Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Industrial, Manufacturing, or a related field).
- At least 3 years of experience in engineering, manufacturing, or project management roles.
- Previous experience in supplier collaboration, product development, or sourcing-related projects is highly preferred.
Salary : $80,000 - $85,000
