We are looking for a dedicated Procurement Specialist to join our team in Longmont, Colorado. In this Contract-to-Permanent role, you will play a vital part in ensuring our procurement processes run efficiently, supporting manufacturing and government-related projects. This position requires a proactive individual with strong attention to detail and expertise in sourcing, purchasing, and supplier management.Responsibilities:• Manage purchase orders and ensure timely processing to support operational needs.• Oversee buying processes and procurement functions to align with organizational goals.• Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers to ensure compliance with quality and delivery standards.• Coordinate purchasing activities, including planning and materials management, to meet production schedules.• Ensure adherence to government procurement regulations, including DFARS and AS9100 requirements.• Work with Bill of Materials (BOM) to source and procure components for manufacturing.• Utilize Epicor ERP and Microsoft Excel to track and manage procurement data.• Analyze supplier requirements and performance to identify opportunities for cost savings.• Support direct sourcing efforts to secure materials and services critical to production.• Collaborate with internal teams to ensure procurement aligns with project needs and timelines.
