Our client a global leader is adding to their Senior Executive Team. The Plant Controller is one of two key leaders for this operation and reports to the CFO in NYC. The Position provides financial oversight and support for a key manufacturing facility, and ensures accurate financial reporting, as well as driving efficiencies.

Responsibilities:

• Manage and ensure the accuracy of product costing, inventory safeguarding, and manufacturing asset reporting for a $500M plant.

• Provide financial insights and leadership to Operations and Finance teams, supporting decision-making and strategic planning.

• Oversee the annual budgeting and forecasting processes, including the development of standard costs and financial performance reporting.

• Supervise all aspects of financial activities related to the plant.

• Collaborate with global functions.

• Partner with plant leadership to optimize financial decisions, ensure proper financial controls, and safeguard company assets.

• Prepare and present financial reports to executive management, ensuring clarity and compliance with corporate accounting standards.

• Lead efforts for continuous financial improvement by analyzing spending, inventory trends, and operational performance.

Requirements:

• Minimum of 10 years of progressive experience in accounting or finance within a manufacturing environment.

• Expertise in manufacturing operations, product costing, inventory control, and financial analysis.

• Proven leadership skills and ability to work collaboratively in a large organizational setting.

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance, with advanced certifications such as CPA or CMA preferred.

• Excellent communication and presentation skills to effectively interact with cross-functional teams.
