This role is a unique opportunity to blend your payroll expertise with the rewarding experience of working in the non-profit sector.Responsibilities:Process full-cycle payroll for employees, ensuring accuracy and compliance with federal, state, and local regulations.Maintain and update employee payroll records, including pay rates, tax withholdings, and benefit deductions.Review and verify timekeeping records for accuracy.Calculate payroll adjustments, including bonuses, retro payments, and deductions.Prepare and submit payroll tax filings and reports in compliance with IRS and state agency requirements.Assist with year-end payroll tasks, including preparation and distribution of W-2s.Partner with HR to ensure seamless onboarding, including setup of payroll systems for new hires.Address employee inquiries related to payroll, including pay discrepancies and tax information.Ensure compliance with non-profit payroll requirements, including grant-funded positions and special reporting needs.Support internal and external audits by providing payroll documentation and reports.
