This role requires a subject matter expert who excels in supervising multi-state payroll processes, managing union and non-union payrolls, certified payroll and ensuring compliance with legal and tax regulations. The ideal candidate will bring strong analytical skills and advanced proficiency in payroll systems and reporting.
Responsibilities:
• Supervise and manage payroll operations for a workforce ensuring timely and accurate processing.
• Oversee union and non-union payrolls, including handling union dues, certified payroll, and prevailing wage compliance.
• Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local payroll tax regulations and reporting requirements.
• Analyze payroll data and prepare detailed reports to support organizational decision-making.
• Collaborate with payroll specialists to ensure smooth administrative and operational payroll processes.
• Manage multi-state payroll operations and maintain compliance with varying state laws and regulations.
• Utilize advanced Excel functions, including pivot tables and VLOOKUP, for payroll data analysis and reporting.
• Provide expertise in payroll systems such as ADP Workforce Now and other platforms, ensuring efficient and accurate processing.
• Maintain oversight of biweekly and weekly payroll schedules, ensuring deadlines are consistently met.
• Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement solutions to enhance payroll efficiency.
