Payroll Administrator

We are looking for a detail-oriented Payroll Administrator to join our client's team in Agawam, Massachusetts. This Contract to permanent position requires expertise in managing payroll processes for multi-state operations and medium to large organizations. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced environment and ensures accuracy and compliance in all payroll-related tasks.

Responsibilities:

• Process full-cycle payroll for employees across multiple states, ensuring timely and accurate payments.

• Maintain payroll records and ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations.

• Resolve payroll discrepancies and address employee inquiries regarding compensation.

• Collaborate with HR and accounting departments to ensure seamless integration of payroll data.

• Prepare and submit payroll reports to management, highlighting key metrics and trends.

• Manage payroll for organizations with over 500 employees, ensuring scalability and consistency.

• Stay updated on changes to payroll laws and implement necessary adjustments.

• Perform audits to verify accuracy in payroll processing and reporting.

• Assist in the implementation of payroll systems and upgrades to enhance efficiency.

• Handle sensitive payroll data with confidentiality and integrity.

• Proven experience in full-cycle payroll processing.
• Familiarity with multi-state payroll regulations and requirements.
• Ability to manage payroll for medium to large organizations, including those with over 500 employees.
• Strong knowledge of payroll software and systems.
• Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively with HR and finance teams.
• Knowledge of federal, state, and local payroll laws.
• High level of professionalism and discretion in handling confidential information.
