Payroll Administrator

We are looking for a detail-oriented Payroll Administrator to join our team in Templeton, California. In this long-term contract position, you will play a crucial role in ensuring accurate and timely payroll processing while maintaining compliance with state and federal regulations. This is a great opportunity to contribute to a dynamic organization and work closely with the Human Resources team.

Responsibilities:
• Manage the end-to-end payroll process, including data entry, calculations, and distribution for employees across multiple states.
• Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local payroll laws and regulations.
• Utilize ADP Workforce Now to process payroll efficiently and accurately.
• Handle payroll for a workforce ranging from 101 to 500 employees, maintaining precision and confidentiality.
• Address and resolve payroll-related inquiries and discrepancies promptly.
• Collaborate with the Human Resources team to ensure employee records are up-to-date and aligned with payroll requirements.
• Generate and review payroll reports to verify accuracy and identify potential issues.
• Stay informed about changes in payroll laws and regulations to ensure ongoing compliance.
• Support audits and reporting requirements by providing necessary payroll documentation.
• Proven experience managing full-cycle payroll processes.
• Familiarity with multi-state payroll regulations and compliance.
• Expertise in handling payroll for medium-sized organizations (101-500 employees).
• Proficiency in using ADP Workforce Now or similar payroll systems.
• Strong understanding of payroll laws, tax regulations, and reporting requirements.
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to manage confidential information with discretion.
• Effective communication skills to address payroll-related inquiries and collaborate with team members.
