Paralegal - Real Estate

Our client is seeking a Real Estate Paralegal to join their small law firm in Greensboro, North Carolina. This role focuses on residential real estate transactions, requiring exceptional organizational skills and strong attention to detail. The ideal candidate will excel in contract preparation, closing coordination, and client communication.

• Draft and revise residential real estate contracts, including purchase agreements, closing disclosures, deeds, and related documents.

• Organize and manage all aspects of residential closings, such as scheduling, preparing documents, and maintaining communication with involved parties.

• Review title commitments, payoff statements, and surveys while assisting attorneys in resolving title issues.

• Monitor critical dates and ensure all tasks and deadlines are completed accurately throughout the transaction process.

• Prepare comprehensive closing packages and post-closing binders while managing follow-ups for pending items.

• Provide clear guidance to clients throughout the closing process, ensuring a smooth and thorough experience.

• Maintain well-organized electronic files and utilize firm software to manage workflows and documentation.

• 3-5 years of experience as a paralegal, preferably in residential real estate.

• Strong knowledge of residential real estate law and transaction processes.

• Proficiency in drafting and reviewing contracts and closing documents.

• Ability to manage multiple tasks, deadlines, and priorities with exceptional attention to detail.

• Excellent communication skills for interacting with clients, attorneys, and other stakeholders.

• Familiarity with title commitments, surveys, and resolving title-related issues.

• Experience with electronic file management and workflow software is preferred.
