Logistics Coordinator

We are looking for a dedicated Logistics Coordinator to join our team in Kemah, Texas. This role involves overseeing fleet operations and ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations and training standards. As a Contract to permanent position, this opportunity provides the potential for long-term growth and stability while contributing to a dynamic and fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:
• Monitor and evaluate driver compliance and address any issues of non-compliance.
• Ensure adherence to organizational and regulatory standards, including permits and certifications.
• Coordinate all aspects of fleet operations, including scheduling and logistical arrangements.
• Facilitate required training sessions to maintain compliance with industry regulations.
• Collaborate with teams to optimize shipping processes and delivery timelines.
• Manage customs documentation and procedures to ensure smooth international shipments.
• Analyze operational data to identify areas for improvement and enhance efficiency.
• Maintain accurate records related to logistics and fleet management.
• Communicate effectively with drivers and stakeholders to address operational concerns.
• Support the organization in meeting distribution goals and customer satisfaction.
• Proven experience in logistics, distribution, or fleet coordination.
• Strong knowledge of regulatory compliance standards and procedures.
• Proficiency in coordinating shipping functions and managing logistics processes.
• Familiarity with customs documentation and international shipping practices.
• Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
• Ability to analyze data and implement process improvements.
• Effective communication skills to collaborate across teams and stakeholders.
• Detail-oriented approach to managing permits, certifications, and records.
