Litigation Support Manager

Robert Half is seeking a Commercial Litigation Paralegal to support a dynamic legal team handling complex business disputes. This is a remote opportunity with monthly in-person meetings, ideal for a detail-oriented professional with strong commercial litigation experience.

Location: Remote (must attend monthly on-site meetings)

Hours: Full-time, Monday–Friday (40 hours/week)

Technology: All necessary technology provided

Duration: Temp-to-Perm

Pay Rate: $40 per hour

Key Responsibilities:

• Draft and file pleadings, motions, subpoenas, and discovery documents
• Assist attorneys in mediation, arbitration, and trial preparation
• Manage a portfolio of approximately 120 active cases, ensuring efficiency and compliance.
• Conduct legal research and summarize findings
• Organize and maintain electronic and physical case files
• Prepare court bundles and exhibits
• Schedule depositions, hearings, and client meetings
• Coordinate with attorneys and other team members to provide litigation support in commercial cases.
• Perform conflict checks and open new matters in the practice management system
• Maintain attorney calendars and deadlines

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree required
• Proven experience in commercial litigation and familiarity with New York courts.
• Strong understanding of litigation procedures and legal terminology
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and legal research tools (e.g., Westlaw)
• Experience with case management systems (e.g., Clio, Relativity, iManage)
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment
• High attention to detail and organizational skills
