Licensing Specialist

We are looking for a dedicated Licensing Specialist to join our team on a long-term contract basis in Avon, Minnesota. This role involves overseeing licensing operations, ensuring all necessary permits are obtained and maintained, and providing expert guidance on compliance with licensing regulations. The position is ideal for someone who thrives in a detail-oriented environment and enjoys collaborating across departments to achieve organizational goals.

Responsibilities:
• Manage the acquisition, renewal, and tracking of licenses and permits required for the organization.
• Research licensing requirements and ensure compliance with state and federal regulations.
• Develop and negotiate licensing agreements to optimize revenue streams.
• Monitor license terms, conditions, and ensure adherence to all compliance standards.
• Maintain organized records of licensing documentation and agreements.
• Collaborate with external agencies and vendors to streamline the licensing process.
• Provide expert advice and guidance on licensing laws and procedures to internal teams.
• Analyze data related to licensing activities and provide actionable insights.
• Support other departments with licensing-related processes and requirements.
• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in licensing processes and compliance.
• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel and Word.
• Exceptional communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to interpret and explain complex regulations with clarity.
• Proven analytical skills and attention to detail.
• Knowledge of state and federal licensing regulations.
• Strong organizational abilities to manage multiple tasks effectively.
